Oreo Cream Cheese Frosting Filled Sandwiches
Another Oreo recipe here, I so love stuffed cookies. Well, who doesn’t? Since when I was a kid I love eating the frosting first, then the cookie after. So I thought of making my own cookies, using my favorite Oreo. This frosting recipe is so rich and fully loaded with Oreo cookie crumbs. I’m sure you will enjoy this creamy and not too sweet frosting. You can use this not only for cookies, but also for cakes and cupcakes too. I am sure kids will love it that they will keep asking for more. So what are we waiting for? Let’s get started!
Oreo Cream Cheese Frosting Filled Sandwiches – Ingredients and Supplies
Oreo Cream Cheese Frosting Filled Sandwiches- Instructions
1. Gather all your ingredients. I use shortbread cookies as sandwich because it has buttery-vanilla flavor that really compliments with the oreo frosting. But, if shortbread cookies are not available, you can use a different kind of cookies or wafers too.
2. Put the oreo cookies in a sandwich bag or ziplock, crush the cookies using a rolling pin.
3.Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar for about 30 seconds.
4.Raise speed to medium and beat for 15 seconds.
5.Add in crushed Oreos.
6.And mix until evenly incorporated. 7. Transfer filling to a piping bag fitted with a large, open tip, or a ziplock bag with corner cut forming a ½ inch hole.
8.Line your wafer/cookies on a flat surface.
9.Squeeze about 2 Tbsp filling onto each cookie.
10.Top with remaining cookies, forming sandwiches.
11. There you go! These cookies are best served if chilled. But if you can’t resist, you can pop it to your mouth right away.
